We’re pleased to announce that with our growth our desires are increasing too. Mugin UAV is currently seeking an engineering minded person with significant small UAS related experience to join our team as an R&D Support Engineer. This position requires an open mind, a desire to see the world, and the ability to relocate to our HQ in Xiamen China. The right candidate will be self-motivated, have hands on experience in robotics and UAS related technologies, and be a well rounded communicator.
About you:
* You’re a self-motivated individual with a passion of UAVs and aviation.
* You understand UAVs and associated technologies.
* You’re an accomplished UAV pilot who is aware of the basic risks of flight and will take every possible measure to reduce risks to equipment and team members.
* You follow the hobby industry and commercial off the shelf providers of components that are relevant to UAV development.
* You have strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and can use this knowledge to solve unfamiliar problems.
* You are equally adept at rapid prototyping and designing for scale and quality.
* You are able to learn quickly and explore new concepts and technologies to create a quality product.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years direct hands on experience with small unmanned aircraft.
* Experience with a wide variety of consumer and professional drones.
* Accomplished pilot of small aircraft (hobby/professional).
* Experience with COTS/Hobby SUAS components.
* Experience with VTOL aircraft and avionics.
* Bachelor’s degree in related field.
